Sorens bird project, hooch

Question: Will the color of the a bird feeder effect a birds eating habits

Hypothesis: I think that green will be the birds favorite color because it is the most common in nature. There is a good chance the color of the feeder doesn't matter to them.

Procedure:
I shall build 4 bird feeders about one square foot in size and connect them with nails. Then I will fill the feeders with bird seed and paint the feeders with yellow, green and some kind of spiraly disign and leave one plain. Then I will fill each one with one cup of seed and put them out in my yard. Each day I will put the seed in at the start of the day and at the end of the day I will take the feeders in and see which feeder had the most seed eaten from it. I will mark down the amount of seed eaten each day. I will rotate the feeders so I know its not just the placement of the feeder but the color of the feeder.
